What are national courses and nationwide programs?

National courses and nationwide programs are education programs offered only at one or a few schools in Norway. These programs can be applied for by students from all over the country, and all applicants are considered equally in the admission process.

You will usually need to live away from home and can apply for a housing grant from Lånekassen. Applications are submitted through the website vigo.no.

The programs for the 2026–2027 school year are not ready. New programs will be decided and published during December 2025.
