Preparatory education for adults
Preparatory education for adults is a program for individuals over the age of 16 who need basic education at a level below upper secondary school. This includes full subjects, parts of subjects, or training in fundamental skills such as reading, writing, spoken Norwegian, arithmetic, and digital skills. The education is free and should be adapted to the individual's needs. The municipalities are responsible for implementing preparatory education for adults.
