Responsibility for education and training

The county authorities are obligated to provide adults with upper secondary education and training, but they can also cooperate with study groups, distance education institutions etc. in providing options for adult applicants. Education and training for adults can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, as daytime instruction or in evening classes, as compressed courses, as distance education, or as web-based instruction. Training options for adults are to be adapted to their own work and life situations.
